New Heads of Department Training, Varndean College

This annual event for the S7 Consortium comes from the acknowledgement that we have a number of new staff amongst the consortium each year who have just moved into Heads of Department posts for the first time.

The programme will run as a whole day training event and this will take place at Varndean College on Thursday, 19th November.

With contributions from experienced current and former Heads of Department, this event will cover topics such as using value-added as a tool for moving students on as well as some of the team and people-focused issues, such as leading your team and observing lessons within your department area.
