    The talk will address generational differences among staff and students, particularly focusing on interactions between Gen Z and older generations. All colleges are multigenerational workplaces with the scope to make the most of all their age diversity for the benefit of the student body.

  • Kit Messenger, CEO of Changing Chances charity on Empowering Young Minds: Building Agency, Confidence and Independence in Sixth-Form Learners

    In this keynote, Kit will share a practical and evidence-informed approach to reversing this trend, demonstrating how staff can support young people to understand their own brains and develop the tools, strategies and self-belief they need to thrive. The session will focus on helping students become effective self-advocates, build genuine self-responsibility and develop the independence required to meet the social and academic demands of sixth-form life.

The morning will continue with SUBJECT GROUP MEETINGS. You will be able to choose your group on the registration form.

After lunch you will attend your choice of TWO WORKSHOPS from a possible eighteen. Every workshop will be applicable to all teachers no matter the subject you teach.

Please note that once workshops are full they will be removed from the list therefore we cannot guarantee your first choice of workshops so please have some backups in mind before you register.
