S7 Consortium of Sixth Form Colleges Compliancy Position Statement


Health and Safety

1. S7 courses are held only at external venues, which are covered by their Health and Safety Policies and in S7 colleges which are all covered by their own Health and Safety policies, and which the delegates agree to abide by when they sign in at the beginning of the course.
2. All S7 staff have completed a home-working self-assessment and any identified issues dealt with.

Safeguarding and Prevent
1. S7 Staff do not work with unchaperoned students from the colleges at any time
2. All delegates are required to adhere to their own college’s code of conduct (which includes Safeguarding and Prevent) at all times during S7 courses as well as the Safeguarding policy of the college in which they are attending a course. They are required to agree to this when they sign into the college at the beginning of the course.

GDPR (including AI)
1. The S7 GDPR policy is published on the S7 website. This has been updated to include the use of AI.
Complaints procedure:
All grievances to be raised in the first instance with the S7 Director Director@s7colleges.com who will not investigate, but will inform the appropriate person in the relevant college(s) so that the matter can be investigated and resolved.

Grievances towards the S7 Director should be raised with the current Consortium Chair, whose details and home college are on the website, and who will investigate in liaison with the college which employs the Director.
